Okay, in all honestly there is no plank to walk but there is tons of fun to be had at Pirate Putt Indoor Mini Golf in Council Bluffs. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a miniature golf course to play on and I was pretty darn excited when I heard the news! I challenged my friend at OhMyOmaha.com to a round this morning and will not confirm nor deny if I lost.
Pirate Putt Indoor Mini Golf in Council Bluffs
The new Pirate Putt Indoor Mini Golf course sits inside the old Earl May building off Madison Avenue. There are two indoor 18 hole miniature golf courses completely decked out with a pirate theme, obviously. The black course is the easy course and the orange course is harder. We chose to play the easy course and I think it’s great for kids and adults.
We chose to play the easy course and I think it’s great for kids and adults. There were some challenging holes, but they were still fun. Things like a Foosball table where your opponents can try blocking your ball and shooting your ball out of a cannon. The interactiveness of miniature golf is why I like it, it’s more than just getting a ball in the hole.
I don’t want to give too much away about everything inside because opening up the door and walking in is part of the fun! There is a large pirate ship that the course goes through, and an under the sea are complete with ocean sounds. The 18th hole is up a board 20ft in the air. I still can’t believe I got a hole in one on that!! Beyond that, you’ll have to go and play a round or two and check it out for yourself!
