Omaha’s First Escape Room: What is Entrap Games
Entrap Games is Omaha’s First Escape Room located on 79th and L Street. There are currently two Escape Rooms open, another one under construction, and two more ideas in the works for the upstairs. I recently got the chance to experience Entrap Games Off Limits Escape Room with Mom Saves Money and The Walking Tourists.

UPDATE: There is a Groupon for Entrap Games right now with three available options depending on if there is two, four, or six, people. Check out this deal on Entrap Games because it won’t last long.

I’d heard about Escape Rooms from friends in Florida and California, and couldn’t wait to finally experience one for myself. What is an Escape Room? It’s a room you and up to 6 people are locked inside for 60 minutes. (There is an exit button, much like the chicken slide at Mystery Manor, so you are never truly locked inside.) Your goal is to uncover clues that give you the five digit combination to unlock the door. In Entrap Games Off Limits Escape Room, there were a variety of locks, combinations, and keys that all needed to be solved to get us out the door.

PS: There are three different ways to obtain the code to get out Off Limits. If you get stumped, go another route.
One of the awesome things about Entrap Games is that they send you hints via the TV screen in the Escape Room. If the see you are hung up and not getting anywhere, or overlooking something major, they will type a clue on the screen to help re-route your thinking. This came in handy many times and I was appreciative that we weren’t left sitting stumped in a room for an hour.

Your group of friends have been invited to an extravagant dinner party hosted by an eccentric trust fund kid, and have been given the run of the mansion, aside a single room, in which you were told to keep out of. Eventually, having looked about the rest of the premise, you all stumble towards the secreted room. The door creaks open and the group steps inside. Moments later, the door shuts and locks! There doesn’t seem to be a way out – but surely there must be something! Mysterious items reveal a dark side to this room’s owner. Escape, before it’s too late!

(Off Limits Escape Room)
I cannot tell you much about the Escape Rooms at Entrap Game because honestly, what fun would it be if you couldn’t fully experience everything within the room, or beyond…..? What I can tell you is that we would have totally made it out had we had just one more person. You can do the room with as little as two people but four to six are recommended.
The Entrap Games Escape Room provided a challenging and fun experience that everyone of you should add to your next night out. You can head over to EntrapGames.com to book your Escape Room  today. You have the chose of Off Limits or The Heist, and Ransom will be opening soon!
