Once you’ve experienced Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede you’ll want to go again and again. It brings back those good times we hold close to our heart about the holidays. Music and laughter, romance and friendly competition, gorgeous horses and camels, ice skaters and so much more. All while enjoying a scrumptious four-course feast that is finger licking good. Literally.

The Feast:

  • Original Creamy Vegetable Soup
  • Tender Whole Rotisserie Chicken
  • Hickory Smoked Barbecue Pork Loin
  • Buttery Corn on the Cob
  • Herb-Basted Potato
  • Hot Homemade Drop Biscuit
  • Flakey Apple Pastry
  • Unlimited Coke, Tea, or Coffee

One of my favorite parts of Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede was “Magic of Toys”. A musical production starring the Sugar Plum Fairy and other toys she brings to life in an aerial display that is set to the beautiful music of “The Nutcracker Suite”.  This blacklight show is filled with so much fun, including ice skaters twirling around a rink that lowers down from the ceiling!

Another favorite portion of the show was the Living Nativity featuring Three Kings arriving atop camels, yes real camels in addition to all the horses in the show! There’s also a Sheppards guiding their flocks of real sheep and doves fly as an angel appears from the ceiling and yes, it’s simply magical!

There is also lots of humor and audience participation and adorable rescue dogs performing tricks, and little piglets racing. It really is a fabulously fun family time, especially for the holidays, all set to a dimensional LED wall backdrop, comprised of 12.5 million lights allows the scene to change during the show to create a fully immersive experience!

Like I mentioned last time, make sure you arrive early so you can stroll down the Horse Walk and marvel at the stars of the show. Then get yourself a souvenir boot mug with a themed mocktail and enjoying the pre-show that will have you slapping your knees, clapping your hands, and singing along with the White River Wranglers.
