A family musical and fun filled adventure is coming to the area! IMAGINOCEAN is coming to Orpheum Theater in Omaha on February 20th! This glow-in-the-dark puppet show was created by Tony-Nominated John Tartaglia, and a show you don’t want to miss!

John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean is a black-light puppet show tailored toward children in pre-school through third grade and packed with music ranging from swing to R&B to Big Band. A magical undersea adventure for kids of all ages, ImaginOcean follows three best friends – Tank, Bubbles and Dorsel – as they set out on a journey of discovery. It all starts with a treasure map. As they swim off in search of clues, they’ll sing, they’ll dance and they’ll make new friends, including everyone in the audience. Ultimately, they discover the greatest treasure of all: Friendship.

Tartaglia has quite a history in musicals and puppeteering. He starred in Avenue Q and originated the roles of Princeton and Rod. He also appeared in the Broadway Production of Shrek the Musical. in Disney’s Beauty in the Beast, and was the executive producer, creator, and star of the eight-time Emmy®-nominated Johnny and the Sprites. What is most impressive to me, is that John Tartaglia is a 12-year veteran of Sesame Street and one of the youngest puppeteers ever to perform on the show, starting at the age of 16. Tartaglia’s production company, Gables Grove Productions (co-founded with Michael Shawn Lewis) is dedicated to creating new, immersive and multi-media family entertainment and as a family that loves entertainment, we love what he is doing.
