Spooktacular events are happening October 22nd – October 31st at The Durham Museum! A ton of fun with a side of spooky and mystery are in store during The Durham Museum Halloween Events and I’ve got the rundown on all the activities for you.

The Great Hallo-ween Haunt
When: October 22nd from 5-8PM
What: Put on your costumes and to The Durham Museum for trick-or-treating fun throughout the museum grabbing sweets from historical figures. Other activities include a Creepy Curator, dancing withe zombies, Haunted Train tours, Cobweb Caboose, games, crafts and more. Come hungry for special Spooky Soda Fountain treats and stay for the costume conga line to end the night. (Free Event for Members)
Spooky Tales for Tots
When: October 23rd & 30th from 10:30-11:30AM
What: Enjoy a new spooky story and craft each week! (Free Event for Members)
History Mystery
When: October 24th from 6-8PM
What: This 21+ event is filled with ghost stories, basement tours, Haunted Train tour and never before seen areas of the original Union Station. There will be a cash bar available as well as Soda Fountain specials. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
Hallo-Weekend
When: October 26th & 27th
What: All weekend long, children 12 and under get in free if wearing a costume. There will be activities on The Platform, Haunted Train tours, dancing zombies, trick-or-treating, and more.
Durham After Dark
When: October 29th from 5-8PM
What: The lights will be turned down low for this ghoulish event that includes spooky stories, glow stick dance party, zombie flash mob, Halloween make-up tricks, creepy scavenger hunt, and more.
